Standard solar grave lights usually charge during the day and switch on automatically after dark. Selected Glowyard square solar modules can also offer a continuous-light mode, allowing the user to activate the LED manually instead of relying only on the dusk sensor.
This solution is particularly suitable for premium grave lanterns, display products, decorative housings and OEM projects where the customer wants more control over when and how the light operates.
Depending on the model, the module can combine a solar panel, 18650 lithium-ion battery, LED light source, controller, touch switch, brightness adjustment and USB charging port. These solutions are designed primarily for grave lanterns, larger cemetery housings and private-label product development.
Solar Mode and Continuous Light Mode – Two Functions in One Module
Selected modules can operate in two different modes, giving one product more flexibility than a standard solar lantern.

18650 Battery Options for More Demanding Lantern Projects
Many of our solar modules use 18650 lithium-ion batteries with capacities from 1,200 mAh to 2,000 mAh, depending on the model and required function. This supports larger LED configurations, brightness control, dual-colour lighting, USB charging and continuous-light operation.
Battery capacity alone does not determine product performance. The final result depends on the full system: solar-panel output, battery capacity, LED quantity, controller settings, brightness level and intended use of the lantern.

When Should You Choose a Square Module, Solar Insert or Solar Cap?
A square solar module is usually the best option for larger lanterns, decorative housings and projects where a larger panel surface, continuous-light mode, USB charging or brightness adjustment is important.
